Books on Prescription Scheme
The Frank Curtis Library and the Trust PALS service have been working in partnership with the Norfolk Library and Information Service to support users of the national Reading Well Books on Prescription scheme launched this month. The aim of the scheme is to improve access to books that can help people to manage and overcome a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Details of the Norfolk scheme are available here GPs and health practitioners can prescribe a book to patients from the national core list which they can borrow from the public library. The Frank Curtis Library holds a number of titles from the core list which Trust staff may wish to read. You can request them online on the library ELMS system or alternatively email email@example.com or ring 01603 421236.
