Training is available for groups or individuals to help you find the health care evidence you need to support your work or studies. 

All training is free and available to NHS and social care staff and students on placement and covers the following:

    Literature searching of healthcare databases, such as Medline, PsycINFO and Cinahl 
    Finding full-text electronic journals and electronic books 
    Keeping up to date 
Finding high quality healthcare information online

Training sessions take place at the Frank Curtis Library, Hellesdon Hospital or at Endeavour House, Ipswich. At the moment we are running training courses at Hellesdon Hospital, but if you are based in Suffolk and cannot travel to Norwich, you can contact us to see what we can arrange for you in Suffolk.

Video tutorials

Edge Hill University in Liverpool have produced some step-by-step online video guides for searching.  Videos of particular use to NHS staff include Medline via NHS Evidence; Search tips for NHS databases and Thesaurus tips.
